Trust

Your cases are your livelihood. We treat them that way.

One leaked file would end our name at the bar. So these promises are written, signed with every chamber, and built into how LexDeepAI works.

The promise

Five lines we sign.

  • i.
    Your data belongs to you

We never sell it, share it or show it to anyone: not other advocates, not companies, not anyone.

  • ii.
Used for your diary, nothing else

Not for advertising, not for profiling, not shown to other users.

  • iii.
    Take it all with you

A full copy of your cases whenever you ask. If you leave, we delete everything and confirm in writing.

  • iv.
    Only the people you add

Only you and the juniors and clerks you add can see your cases.

  • v.
    Backed up every night

If our server has a bad day, your practice doesn't.

How we keep it

Promises are cheap. Here's the engineering.

What actually stands between your files and anyone who shouldn't see them.

Every chamber walled off

Every request is checked against your chamber, for reading and for writing. One chamber cannot see, or link to, another's cases, even by guessing an ID.

Encrypted on the way

Everything travels over HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes; nobody, including us, can read them.

Kept in India

The documents you upload are stored with Amazon Web Services in Mumbai, and everything is backed up every night to a second location.

You control who sees what

Nobody can change their own role or chamber. Short sign-in sessions, renewed securely; repeated wrong passwords are slowed down.

Deleted when you ask

Delete your account from Settings, or ask us. It leaves our live systems at once and our backups within 30 days.

No case text in our logs

Our logs and error reports record IDs and counts, never party names or case text. No analytics on your cases, ever.

If it ever goes wrong

We tell you within 24 hours. Personally.

If a breach ever touches your data, you hear it from us within a day: what happened, what it affects, and what we are doing about it. Hiding it is how companies die twice.
